| CompTIA's A+ certification is open to anyone who wants to pursue a career as PC Technician or PC Support Analyst. Both exams are targeted toward entry-level computer service technicians with at least 6 months on-the-job experience. There are no specific requirements necessary except for the exam fee.
The A+ test is available internationally in English, Spanish, French, German, and Japanese. |

| There are no specific requirements for CompTIA's Network+ certification. Although it is targeted toward IT professionals with 18 to 24 months of experience, anyone who wishes to take the Network+ exam may do so. This certification is the logical next step for those who have already attained CompTIA's A+ certification.
CompTIA's Network+ exam consists of only one test, which has 72 questions, and you have 90 minutes to complete this exam. To pass, you must have a score of at least 72%.

| There are no specific requirements for i-Net+ certification. Although it is targeted toward IT professionals with 18 to 24 months of experience, anyone who wishes to take the i-Net+ exam may do so.
CompTIA's i-Net+ exam consists of 74 questions, and you have 90 minutes to complete this exam. To pass, you need to answer at least 54 questions correctly, with a score of 73 percent.

Although Microsoft does not require that you take these exams in any particular order, it is highly recommended that you take the four Core exams first, probably in the order listed in the "Core Technologies Exam" below then You should take one the "Core Design Exams" listed below. |
